Type Rule

Type rulers are essential tools for a designer for the deconstruction of type and book design as well as functions such as proportion, scale, grid systems. We designed and produced our version of the type ruler, abolishing some unnecessary attributes found in a conventional type ruler.

The packaging designed to encase the type rule is type driven and meant to be opened like a book, with blind-embossed detail of a grid on the front cover. The result is very subtle, simplistic, and reflects the discipline of typography.
